Who's Going to See That?

I have nice socks. They say "Opa" on them. At the top... 🤔

Have you ever noticed that logos and text on socks are almost always at the top? Right where they disappear under your trouser leg.

Who came up with this? Someone designed a logo, chose the colours, got it manufactured... and in the end it vanishes under your trousers.

The only time it shows is when I'm sitting with my legs crossed. Briefly. Then gone again.

Is that the point? A bit like a tattoo on a spot only visible when you undress. Intimate. But then you wouldn't keep your socks on...

Pretty pointless, really.
